On the basis of your JEE rank, you can't get any government college. However, there is still hope for you to get a government college but for this, you have to clear and get a good rank in state government institute.

Yes, you can apply for CSAB spot counselling round. If you don't get a seat or desired seat in the JoSAA counselling rounds, then you might get a seat in CSAB spot round. So please apply for CSAB spot round.

I would suggest DAIICT over NIRMA and MSU. The main reason being placements and research internship opportunities are higher in DAIICT. Each professor has a project to which you can contribute provided you have the pre-requisites. The learning comes not only from classrooms but also from extra-curricular. Overall it is a fun atmosphere.

yes, you can easily take admission into Dav college jalandhar. The minimum eligibilty is 50% in bachelor degree.You are eligible for it.

It's not possible for you to get a good government college as most of the colleges cut-off is around 90-95 percentile. So, you have to go for private institutes.
