Based on the previous year's placements, both the colleges are good for 3 to 4 LPA. But if you are expecting more than that it's really tough. To select the better one it depends on the faculty experience, lab facilities and other factors. MAIT is better if we take all these factors into account.

Are you going to mug up question answers or you are going to learn the topics covered by these questions? I am sure if you intention is to study the topics covered by different questions which have been asked in the 18 previous years you would have studied the complete syllabus and hence you will definitely do well in the current year.
