Good academic record, preferably 60% plus in graduation.
Relevant undergraduate degree form recognized university.
At least 2-3 years of full time work experience after graduation.

To add on, I would say that you can go for M.SC in Computer Science that covers various areas which can be applied to various areas like technology, science, business and education. A person who has done MSC computer science will have opportunities in software development, testing and networking. Companies such as Oracle, HP, Wipro, IBM, Compaq etc. are hiring people with MSC computer science qualification. Eligibility for IIT JAM:
• The candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s degree in the subject concerned or related subjects, in which they are seeking admission.
