Indian students must first obtain qualifying grades in their bachelor's degree before they can pursue an MS in Engineering in the UK. They must meet the UK's English proficiency criteria in order to be admitted. Check the requirements for obtaining an MS in Engineering in the UK:

• Obtain a bachelor's degree with grades that meet your needs.
• Most UK colleges require an IELTS score for MS admission.   But they also take other ELP scores and the TOEFL.

3. Master's Degree: A master's degree is a graduate degree that usually lasts from 1-2 years, depending on the college and course you choose. 
4. Doctoral Degree: It is the highest level of academic education/degree that lasts from 6-7 years and requires comprehensive research work. The PhD degree concludes with a dissertation which is often analysed by a committee of members.  

The placement are ongoing for the Class of 2024. As of now, the the highest and minimum package offered to CSE students during SRM Vadapalani placements 2024 stood at INR 4.5 LPA and INR 3 LPA, respectively. Further, the the highest and minimum package offered to MTech students during SRM Vadapalani placements in 2024 stood at INR 8.5 LPA and INR 4.5 LPA, respectively. The the highest and average package provided to the Management students in the 2024 placement drive stood at INR 16.13 LPA and INR 6.87 LPA, respectively. The top recruiters of SRM Vadapalani placements in 2024 included Aditya Birla Capital, Asian Paints, BNY Mellon, Cognizant, Genpact, KPMG, Deloitte, KPMG, TCS, Federal Bank, Commvault, Wipro, Sony, IBM, etc.
