No, the MHT CET Law exam (MH CET Law) is a state-level entrance test meant only for law colleges in Maharashtra. It isn't accepted for admissions outside Maharashtra, as other states or universities usually take national-level exams like CLAT or conduct their own entrance tests.

The MH CET Law merit list is made by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra, using the raw scores and percentile earned by candidates in the exam. It works as a ranking list of students who qualify for the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) rounds.

The process first brings out a provisional merit list, and after checking and solving any grievances, the final merit list is published.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra makes the final MH CET Law answer key after checking all the objections sent by students through the online portal. These are looked at by subject experts, and any mistakes in the provisional key get fixed.

GATE counselling 2026 will be conducted by COAP and CCMT, which will be done by respective IITs and IISc on rotational basis.

Log in using your application ID and date of birth, and your scorecard will appear on the screen. It shows your total marks and percentile clearly.

The provisional answer key is not the same as the final answer key because it can be challenged. If you think any answer is wrong, you can raise an objection by paying a ₹1000 fee per question.

After checking all the objections, the State CET Cell releases the final MH CET Law answer key, which cannot be changed later.

Count all your correct answers, and that number becomes your raw score — out of 150 marks for the 3-year test or 120 marks for the 5-year one.
