Should a student transferring from an Indian university to Canada during graduation apply as transfer or international student on the OUAC?

<p dir="ltr" role="presentation">While transitioning from an Indian university or college to pursue higher <a href="https://www.shiksha.com/studyabroad/canada">studies in Canada, </a> an applicant doesn&rsquo;t need to categorise themselves as a transfer or an international student during the application process through OUAC. All applicants, regardless of their current educational background, follow the same application procedure.&nbsp;</p><p dir="ltr">Meanwhile, the evaluation process totally depends on the applicants previous academic curriculum. If such a student is applying to Western University Canada, they can submit their application through OUAC platform. Students are required to pay Western University application fee of CAD 150 = INR 9,311*. International students are advised to submit the applications by Feb 1, 2024, for the 2024 intake.</p><p dir="ltr"><strong>*1 CAD = INR 62</strong></p>
