You have not mentioned the particular course but I am assuming that you are interested in B.Tech, where the eligibility is 90%in +2 / 90% percentile in JEE Mains or 60% in +2 with LPU NEST. If you have scored this percentile, you can take direct admission. LPU also offers scholarships based on different categories. Last date to take admission with maximum scholarship is 31-5-2020.

Hi, Due to the current situation I. e. COVID-19, the eligibility criteria is relaxed for admissions 2020. The eligibility criteria for B.Tech is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU NEST will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2. JEE Mains scores are acceptable at LPU for admission as well as for scholarship. Considering the pandemic situation of COVID-19 these days LPU is giving the chance for the all the students who were the part of JEE exam held in January to be a part of their special counselling process last date to apply for the same is 20th April and if not then you can apply for LPU NEST and be a part of their regular counselling, last date to apply for the same is 30th April. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Lovely Professional University introduced some changes in Admission procedure. LPU introduced the online platform for admission, counselling and entrance exam for the ease of students. LPU NEST exam/JEE Main Exam will definitely help you out to take admission at LPU. You need to MET eligibility and admission criteria of the course you are interested in. If you miss eligibility to appear for one then with the help of other exam you can get into you course of interest. Both exams help you to get into technical course at LPU. Due to COVID-19, candidates need to participate in online counseling and then can proceed for admission after the announcement of allotment. To participate in online counselling, a candidate needs to register for LPUNEST and upload his JEE details and scores and post that he/she need to wait for the announcement of rank or result.
* As far as you JEE Mains score is concerned, If you perform well in JEE Mains and score more than 80 percentile you need not to write LPUNEST. However, if you score less than 80 percentiles and in order to avail Scholarship, LPUNEST is mandatory and you must appear for LPUNEST in the Schedule II.

If you have a good amount of score in JEE Mains or have a good percentile, more than 80% in your class 12th and class 10th. You will be exempted from the compulsory LPU NEST exams. Moreover, if you want a good amount of scholarship you can give the LPU NEST exam for getting a better scholarship amount.
