Should I choose Sharda University or Lovely Professional University?

Hi there, To the best of my experience, I feel Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar is the best university in north India. Well, I have been studying at LPU from past 4 years and I think this is the best time of my life. Lovely Professional University is close to my heart. Ive spend some of the very memorable days of my college life here and looking forward to so much more. Ive tried summing up my experience so far, below: Activities: Apart from education, the university also focuses on our extracurricular activities to bring out the best of our personality. Various activities and fests are organized by the university. LPU is one of the best experience I am having till now. Academics: LPU from an educational point of view is a good place to start your career with. It is one of the decent university having a lovely campus. The quality of education is supreme which perfectly blends in with the technology. The faculty is highly supporting if one is willing to learn. Frequent guest lectures are often taken up by experts who are highly knowledgeable in their respective fields. Even guest lecturers from foreign universities also visit. I would suggest not to miss out on those. Regular tests are conducted by professors to make sure we understand things better. The syllabus is updated every 6 months. Placements: Almost 95% of students who have above 6 CGPA in our department get placed in a reputed company. On an average, 200 MNCs visit our campus every year, placing around 2000 students every year. Packages vary from 3.33lpa to 30 LPA based on the students' skill. The package really depends on what he can show to the recruiters that, how much he is worth or deserved. There were some students who cracked the placement and got offered 21 LPA, while many failed to do so. On an average the MBA students of LPU is offered and placed in the starting package of 4.5 TO 6 LPA (Fixed salary) while there may be cases of students getting less than that or more than that. Like I said, LPU will provide you the platform and the opportunity, but it is really you who have to go and perform on the platform being provided. Before the placements, students are trained in aptitude, reasoning, soft skills and language training, Interviewing skills right from the 2nd year, continuously for 1-1.5 years till they get job. Hence, you need not worry about the placements at LPU. Hope this helps. Thanks.

My friend did Bachelor's Degree from another university and Masters degree from LPU. If someone asks him to choose a better university or college, he always recommends LPU to everyone and even he said, he wishes if he could complete his Bachelor's Degree as well from LPU. As per my knowledge,All the university are doing good in their own way. Rather than comparing, we should check the university which caters all round development of student. I would suggest you to check the following before finalizing the institute: 1. Rankings 2. Faculty 3. Pedagogy used 4. International exposure 5. Tech-savvy last but not the least Placements All the institutes are doing great in education but Being a alumni of LPU,I can highlight some of the facts of LPU: #LPU being in education since last 18 years has fetched many rankings to its credit as compared to any other institute. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. #Several big brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic sessions. # Students are also provided with on job trainings, industrial exposures inculcating in them modern management skills. #LPU believes in delivering the quality, for same, it has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. The syllabus is vetted from the company officials of Cognizant, Microsoft etc. To provide updated curriculum. #The centre for Professional enhancement of LPU aims at developing new skill sets to its students besides improving their existing skills and competencies.
