Should I go for MBA or M.Arch after I complete my UG course in B.Arch? What are the advantages of going for this programme?

If you have interest in same field then you should do M.Arch else go for MBA. You need to qualify any entrance test (such as CAT / MAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ NEST) and should also have min of 50% to 55% in your Bachelors. You can do MBA in any specializations of your interest. Hi, While both courses add value to a B.Arch, the choice between the two depends on several factors. An MBA tends to have a broader spectrum, allowing you to diversify into more 'mainstream' lines of business (such as consulting). In contrast, an M.Arch is a focused specialisation, facilitating you to become an expert in your chosen field. If you're academically inclined and wish to do research/ studies on specific facets of the profession, go ahead and do an M.Arch. If you prefer to take up employment in a well-paying job (doing things other than drafting details), shoot for an MBA. If you prefer the closed well-knit company of your architectural peers, do an M.Arch, however, if you yearn to have a diverse friend circle from varied educational backgrounds pick an MBA. When choosing an M.Arch, look for course content and hunt out details about the faculty, these end up being much more important than the 'brand name' of the institute you choose. B.Arch (Analytical Brain)+MBA Your aptitude, number-crunching skills are good, there is an option of Management Consulting, Urban Economics, Real estate economics, Investment Strategy, Entry strategies for Products, Product Market fit- many companies like EY, Barclays, Stanley Morgan, JP Morgan, BCG, Oliver Wyman, Bain, ATK, Deloite, Alwarez and Marshal. Most of them prefer Architect+MBA (finance), Architect+BI (Business Intelligence) specialist. B.Arch+Masters (Planning) Urban Planning, Regional Planning, Transport Planning, Environment Planning. This course is similar to MBA, instead of focusing more on analytics, you will give more importance to design. Designing the cities, towns, townships, layouts. To be simple, you'll be involved in architecture on a larger scale. Catering to many people in the area. So you would be Master Planner like Le Corbusier.
