    There will be pros and cons-
    In terms of education and support provided by faculty (mainly in research) it provides good infra and more over it's better than few NITs not all. It depends on the person who studies there and there dedication levels simply we can't say it is behind the NITs. I agree that rules in Sastra are like making it behind top NIT's but SASTRA makes u ready for your future. SASTRA reserves about 50 percentage of seats to locals I.e. Tamil Nadu students whether it makes non locals to feel somewhat discomfort as mostly, they prefer to speak in their mother tongue (obviously, they will) but it may be solved if they rais

    I think, you may get a seat, as you have 145 mark. Other than CSE, it is easier to get a seat, go through shikhsa college predictor section.
