    90% of The Multinational companies visits LPU for recruitment purpose. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of students. Around 550+ companies visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. LPU is an axis for Joint campus placement drives.     Dear Vishal,
    Both the branches are good, you choose as per your interest. It you are interested in core programming then CSE will be better, while if your interest lies in information systems, then you go for IT.
    YES for sure there are a little more opportunities in CSE as far as jobs are concerned. but the decision has to be made on basis of interest and aptitude.

    LPU is a premier university of India with high repute in terms of Placements, best infrastructure, and faculty. To get admission in LPU you have to fulfill the eligibility criteria of University. For B Tech, a candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in +2 (PCM with English) and LPUNEST or JEE qualified. LPUNEST is a national level objective type test with no negative marking for admission cum scholarship. LPU is offering scholarship on tuition fee to their students based on the performance in test/+2 marks/JEE score. So if you satisfy the criteria you can apply for admission.

    Hi Vishal,
    Definitely you can take Admission in IT stream, if you are really made up your mind to pursue your career in Information systems then you should opt IT stream.
    If you have even little attraction towards programming then go for CSE.
    Although LPU provides equal and ample opportunities of placements for both the streams but the possibilities of getting jobs are at upper hand. Some Big recruiters like MICROSOFT India selected LPU student at the package of 42 LPA.
