B.Tech CSE is good at LPU, the placements are good for this stream.
If you want to choose BCA, or MBA IT, you can choose that as well. However, for MBA IT especially, companies do not visit for placements as such, marketing and finance are dominated in terms of placements for MBA placements.
Or else you can choose for specialization in MBA with dual, that is marketing plus Business Analytics, this will help you play safe with regard to the placements.
Further, it is suggested you go for B.Tech CSC rather than B.Tech IT, there are obviously minute differences in the syllabus.
    All the best.

    Hi Vishal,
Definitely you can take Admission in IT stream, if you are really made up your mind to pursue your career in Information systems then you should opt IT stream.
If you have even little attraction towards programming then go for CSE.
Although LPU provides equal and ample opportunities of placements for both the streams but the possibilities of getting jobs are at upper hand. Some Big recruiters like MICROSOFT India selected LPU student at the package of 42 LPA.
I hope you find it helpful.
