Both the branches are good, you choose as per your interest. It you are interested in core programming then CSE will be better, while if your interest lies in information systems, then you go for IT. YES for sure there are a little more opportunities in CSE as far as jobs are concerned. But the decision has to be made on basis of interest and aptitude. 5 years agoHi Ayushman, Definitely you can take Admission in IT stream, if you are really made up your mind to pursue your career in Information systems then you should opt IT stream. If you have even little attraction towards programming then go for CSE. Although LPU provides equal and ample opportunities of placements for both the streams but the possibilities of getting jobs are at upper hand. Some Big recruiters like MICROSOFT India selected LPU student at the package of 42 LPA. I hope you find it helpful. -
