Sir,I'm in 11th standard and want to be an IAS. I will definitely work hard for it. Should I start studying from now?Am I going on ri8 path?
My subjects are Economics, History and pol.science. I got 93% marks in 10th board exam.And want to study Economics further and researching more on political science,world history & geography along with Indian history and geography.

Hi As you said that you want to go for UPSC and want to do your graduation from private, well it doesn't matter if you do it from private or not, but i would suggest you to do a regular course along with UPSC coaching, this would in fact give you a deep insight into the relevant field and you can also pursue your degree at the same time.You would be glad to know that nowadays universities like UPES has come up with great BA programs with great curriculum in which they would not only deliver regular courses but also have inbuilt coaching schedule so that you can apply for various competitive exams. Hi As you said that you want to go for UPSC and want to do your graduation from private, well it doesn't matter if you do it from private or not, but i would suggest you to do a regular course along with UPSC coaching, this would in fact give you a deep insight into the relevant field and you can also pursue your degree at the same time.You would be glad to know that nowadays universities like UPES has come up with great BA programs with great curriculum in which they would not only deliver regular courses but also have inbuilt coaching schedule so that you can apply for various competitive exams. UPES has embedded Civil Services Examination coaching along with the regular course curriculum for its BA programs. This university has joined hands with an IAS Academy. Moreover you can see other university too that offers similar programme so that you can actively complete both and by doing so your chance of cracking IAS will be more than doing it from a private or a distance course. As you know the criteria for IAS is graduate so do not lose your focus from your regular study because Your Regular study will give you confidence about subjects like Economics,History,Geography and political science.
