    There have been several reports of phony placement analyses, however, this is not the case. Chandigarh University (NAAC A+ grade University) has emerged as the region's indisputable leader, having been named University with Best Placements. Computer Science Engineering students of University Institute of Engineering (UIE) created history as Top Multi-National offered highest package of Rs. 52.11 lacs for the Engineering branch. IT giants such as Microsoft, IBM, SAP Labs, Hewlett Packard visited CU and recruited more than 2030 CSE/IT Engineering students. Worlds top IT giant Microsoft selected Computer Science and IT Engineering students consecutively for last three years, while number the selections have increased three times and touched 15.     Yes, Placements shown by Chandigarh University are real for the Computer Science Department reason why I am saying that is because I am in Civil Engineering and my close (senior)friend of mine is currently in the Final year of CS Engineering, He told me Chandigarh University bring lots of company to campus for placement, he also told me that he use to give multiple interviews in a day, the only thing University expects from the student is 7.5 CGPA and good consistent reputation, the university makes compulsory to the student to do some Extra course because of which it becomes beneficial for students in an interview which gives another
