    The BSE provides a specified time to raise objections against the OSSTET Answer Key. The dates for raising objections to the OSSTET Answer Key will be announced by BSE on the website Candidates are required to fill an objection form and submit it along with any supporting documents.

OSSTET Paper 1 has 5 subjects- 1. Child Development and Pedagogy 2. Language-1  3. Language-2 4. Mathematics 5. Environmental Studies 
OSSTET Paper 2 has 5 subjects- 1. Child Development and Pedagogy 2. Language-1 3. Language-2 4. Mathematics and Science 5. Social Studies/Social Science.

Yes, the OSSTET exam is conducted on a single day but in two different shifts. The details of the OSSTET exam shifts has been given below for the candidates

  • Shift 1 is conducted from 10:00 am-12:30 pm for OSSTET Paper 1
  • Shift 2 is conducted from 2:30-5:00 pm for OSSTET Paper 2

However, the shift timing can be changed by the board. Though, the candidates will be informed by the board before if any changes are made for the OSSTET exam.

Yes, the exam conducting authority does provide the facility for online form correction. Though, you are advised to fill all particulars in the OSSTET form carefully to be free from any hassle. The important points for OSSTET application correction window has been given below: 

  • The correction window will open after the application process
  • The correction window will open for 2 to 3 days
  • After the correction window closes, candidates will not be given any chance to update/edit the application form

In the OSSTET exam, papers 1 and 2 contain 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) each. Paper 1 comprises 5 sections i.e. Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. Paper 2 comprises 4 sections with a choice in the fourth one i.e. Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, and Mathematics and Science or Social Studies. OSSTET Marking Scheme: 1 mark is allotted for every correct answer and there is no negative marking in the OSSTET exam.
