I agree will sakshi's points. More disadvantages i would like to add: 1. Chances of distraction high 2. Hidden costs 3. Complicated technology 4. Quality of faculty compromised 5. Questionable credibility of degrees 6. Lose out on networking

I think there are no advantages of doing distance MBA. Some disadvantages of Studying through Distance Learning: 1.No Direct Contact with faculty 2. Overdependence on Technology 3.Lack of Discipline 4.It can get Lonely 5.Not All Courses are Available/ Taught 6.Not Valued by all Employers
