Dear Archana, Our University provides ample opportunities to every eligible students to secure good placement, Internships Opportunities offered by the University placement department (Division of Career Services, DCS). Some companies where our students got placed like Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, CTS, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs, Capgemini, Verizon, SAP Labs, Alight Solutions, Tivo Corporation,Wipro, Interviewbit, LG Soft India, Click Labs, PEGA, Tavisca Solution, Hitachi Consulting, Blujay, IBM, ITC Infotech, MAQ Software, Josh Technologies, Morgan Stanley, Schneider Electric, Directi, Sopra Steria, Tavant, Wipro, L&amp;T Technologies, Dell, Ericsson, Samsung, Bosch, CSS Corp, Kony India, KPIT Technologies, KPMG, Synopsy etc In 2017-18 we have 98% of placement record for B.Tech CSE and IT, in which the average package was 4.6 lacs per annum and the maximum was 26.83 lacs per annum. CTC Rs. 27.5 LPA is the Highest Package Availed by Engineering(CSE) Students for batch 2018. Rs 28.75 LPA for B.Tech CSE by Amazon. Rs 26.5 LPA for B.Tech CSE by Interviewbit. Rs 13 LPA for CSE by Tivo Corporation Apart from this, in each semester we have the Professional Enhancement Programmes (PEP) in which the students are prepared to crack the placement processes like Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning), Quantitative Aptitude Skills, Technical Aptitude Skills, Presentations and Soft Skills and Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc.) For B.Tech admission, eligibility for B.Tech is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics and English)* subject to qualifying LPUNEST (B.Tech.) The placements are literally good. Last year, the highest package was about INR. 28 Lacs, and other company also come here like Cognizant, high-radius etc., and a good amount of students got placed. So, the placements are good at LPU.

Placements in LPU for computer science engineers is very good. Last year's highest package was 28 LPA by Amazon India. Almost 70% of the students got placed in some companies. LPU is best for the computer science graduates in terms of placements.

Choosing where to study, and to which university you should go, is one of the most important decisions you will make. I was part of BBA-MBA course batch 20112016. So lets say like this our college life started when this University was quite young as it started in 2006. Lets talk about experience: As LPU has not only maintained its excellence in placing its students every year but LPU sets placement record yet again. Crossing the mark of expected placement drives & offers, this year proved job-productive for LPU students not only in number but quality placement also. LPU is making new strides in placements of its students in top-notch brands every year. LPU has set the highest placement record, and the year 2017 too proved no different. . In the year 2018, 5015 offers (including internships) for graduating batches 2017 & 2018 have already been generated, with a highest annual salary package of Rs 31.83 Lakh for engineering students and Rs 15.20 Lakh for management students. Of these, more than 600 offers have been extended alone by Fortune 500 companies. One of the top selectors, Schneider Electrical, which hires from only 21 Institutes of the country like IITs and NITs, has preferred only one private university, that is, LPU to select its students. Job-profiles are also heightened as companies like Morgan Stanley, Amazon and more has chosen LPU students for the consultancy profiles. One of the top social media network LinkedIn has also preferred LPU students as Campus Editors. Presently LPU students are working world-wide with prestigious global companies like Google, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon and many more at salary packages of more than one Crore. Corporate like Tech Mahindra, Amazon, and Capgemini alone have recruited 100 students each in 2017 placement session. Hi Archana, I heard really huge for LPU in placements specially. LPU has unbeatable placement records. students are trained with the professional enhancement program classes. LPU has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to the most employability of LPU. Complimenting to Quality Education, Placements in LPU is also amazing, with the top brand in the world coming for recruitment provides great opportunities to its students. Some of the Placement opportunities in LPU : More than 550 students hired on a single day by Cognizant, not once but TWICE that is more than 1000 students, which has set a record in the whole of North India. LPU Student got Placement of 42 LPA package per year in MICROSOFT. 2019, 3 Engineering students offered 28 LPA from AMAZON for their AI SKILLS. LPUs Business Schools Bachelors students recruited for ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND. MBA students are getting placed at an average package of more than 46 LPA in more than 100 companies. More than 150+ companies have already visited 20172017 MBA batch of MBA and nearly all of them are already placed and many of them already on OJT (on the job training). Hyatt Regency Miami USA and Great Wolf Lodge Wisconsin selected 6 students at the package of 15 Lakh Per Annum. Your question is very straight so i would like to keep it simple. Placements when it comes to CSE is best among all other branches at LPU. Do not feel concerned about the highest package that was offerd in the past rather emphasize on the opportunities you can get at LPU. Trust me you will see a Company daily in the campus for recruitment, in 2015 a total 64 companies visited the campus for CSE. Few of them are : Cognizant : Usually the first company of the season(visits in aug or sept every year)recruited 329 , 610 ,550 candidates from 2014 ,15 ,16 batches respectively out of which 164, 270 , 211 students were from CSE department. Pkg : 3.15 lpa AON Hewitt : Visited twice during nov and then in feb. recruited 24 and then 43 students out of which 8 and 27 students were from CSE. Pkg: 2.8lpa AMDOCS: Continually visiting from 2012 recruited 43 students out of which 29 were from CSE. Pkg : 3.6 lpa Tech Mahindra : Visited for the first time for 2016 CSE batch. Hired 251 students. Pkg : 2.8 lpa LG Soft : Hired 6 students from CSE batch 2015. Pkg : 5.5 lpa Verizon Data Services : Hired 8 students from CSE. Pkg : 5 lpa Josh Technologies: Hired 7 students from CSE. Pkg : 6 lpa. Practo Technologies : Hired 3 CSE students. Pkg : 7.21 lpa Encyclopedia Britanica : Hired 2 students at 2.8 lpa HCL ISD : Hired 48 students out of which 27 were from CSE. Pkg : 2.75 lpa. Tavant Technologies: Hired 12 students out of which 6 were from CSE. Pkg : 4.25lpa. Startupelves : Hired 14 CSE students @3.25 lpa. WNS Global Services: Data not available These are just few companies that i listed. I can providw you the detailed list if you want. You will get numerous opportunities and companies in the campus if you join CSE department. Frankly speaking the placements of the LPU CSE is best or you can say excellent when compared to the other universities of its class such as Amity , SRM, Jaypee or any other university PSG or Ramaiah. The investment at LPU is low if you score 70+ percentage in your boards. U But the important question is you are required to study and maintain a required CGPA of atleast 6.7 to sit for decent companies.

During my graduation, I've seen many reputed multinational companies make their way into the university every year. It offers best placements Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Mahindra, Wipro, Capgemini, etc recruit on campus. It also has a record of placing almost 600+ students in one day which is really great. The placement cell of LPU works really hard to make sure that maximum students get placed. Faculty makes sure that the Student goes through thorough training before the placement.

Placements particularly in B.Tech CSE is just up to the mark. Various renowned companies are approaching every year like Amazon, BOSCH, ITC, IBM etc. So, you can easily go for that. Average package is around INR. 5 LPA to INR. 10 LPA. All the best.
