    My cousin brother is pursuing B.Sc. (Hons)Agriculture from LPU itself. He told Lovely Professional University has become India's first private university to get ICAR accreditation due to getting one of the highest Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) Rating of 3.42/4, among all Universities. MBA/PGDMGraduate/Post Graduate or equivalent qualification in any other discipline from a University or Institution are eligible. The Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidates must be of at least three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. For students other than Agriculture/Food and allied graduates, have to take few additional courses related with Science and Technology of Agriculture/Food & allied. Note: Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor's degree / equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirement and are awaiting results can also apply. Such candidates must produce a certificate from the Principal/Head of the Department/Registrar/Director of the university/ institution certifying that the candidate is currently in the final year / is awaiting final results.
