To my experience, one must go for Lovely Professional University which is the best place for B.Tech civil engineering. An Engineering programme that seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem-solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Manufacturing, Thermal, etc. Specialisation. LPU students have availed opportunities of Placements in government services like the Indian Army and Indian Navy, IAS IES SSC and Air Force. The students of the School of Civil Engineering have placed many students in national and international organizations like Al-Rakha, Simplex, Cognizant Soma enterprises, L&amp;T, Gammon, Zamil Infra, Unisys, Tech Mahindra, Xceedance, etc. The best thing I like about LPU about placement is, they provide placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. With the help of this, they can prepare themselves for placements till the pre-final year because the companies will start visit for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. LPU received an Employability award by Aspiring Mind in 2020 for best placement Institute in India. LPU is ranked 10th best university for Training and Placement in 2019 by Knowledge Review LPU got Golden Star Award 2018 for being University with the best placements in India. Huge number of Campus placement drives with reputed brands used to be held every year for this course. Students are placed in the best brands like Larsen &amp; Tubro Ltd. , Simplex Infrastructure pvt Ltd. , Gammon India, National Highway Authority of India, HCC, Shapoorji &amp; Pallonji, DLF Homes, RITES Ltd. , NCC, SAIL, DMRC BHEL, KEC INTERNATIONAL LIMITED and many more. Scope of Civil Engineering is not limited to Domestic base rather its been accepted globally in different career aspect or profile like Corporate job, Government Job, Consultant, Teaching, Research, Entrepreneurship etc. Salary is competitive enough as it is unique field, no alternative of an experienced Civil Engineering in the industry. Hello there, I think I can answer your question as I am a student of LPU and I have seen many of my friends getting placed in top brand companies. Well LPU is well known for engineering and their placement. And as far as I remember the top companies which my civil engineering friends told me that they and their batchmates got placed into are, such as Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, and several other firms. Some students are placed in AMAZON at a package of 28 LPA. Rs. 24 LPA. And there are also students who have been earning Rs. 80,000 per month as the highest Internship Stipend. More than 650 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment with an average package of 4-10 LPA. Every year visiting companies have been increasing in number and to date, and LPU has recorded the highest placements in North India. Other than all this stuff, studying at LPU, students get an option for a Credit transfer programme, Semester exchange programme, International Exposure programme, and Master-abroad programme. Hi Since the beginning of the creation, when someone placed a roof over his head or laid a tree trunk across a river to cross it, Civil Engineering existed. LPU has its student organisation known as &quot;bridge, &quot; which conducts various events and competitions to bring forth creativity and to award the best engineer in the making. The consortium of former LPU alumni and an active group of engineering professionals with a sound civil background share their experience on various technologies, industries, methodologies, and processes adapted by many MNC. Moreover, Intellectual Industry officials regularly visit the school to guide faculty members and students themselves. Workshops are being arranged for enhancing student knowledge. School of Civil Engineering, Lovely Professional University, has signed MOU with NHAI for giving paid internship opportunities to our existing Civil Engineering students. Learning by Doing, in which fresher students of the school of civil engineering prepared the building models under the guidance of faculty. The placements are excellent.
