Great chances of getting PGDM. Both are equally good courses, but MMS is slightly better.

MMS is affiliated by University of Mumbai and the PGDM by AICTE. There is no difference as such even the students sit in the same class and the placements are also same. If you want to pursue further studies, then go for MMS as it is a degree.

MMS & PGDM classes are held together at N.L Dalmia so no difference. Secondly, you should apply for PGDM as you have great chances provided you perform well in the GD/PI.

MMS gives you a degree whereas PGDM gives you a diploma. So, if you wish to pursue further studies post MBA, especially abroad, degree will be more helpful.
As far as placements are concerned, MMS and PGDM both are as par. For MMS, only MH-CET score is considered.
With CMAT, you can secure a seat in PGDM.
