<ol><li>Permanent faculty is really good (exception exists) but the guest faculty are not good enough because they are made to work more than they are paid for so they usual seem unintrested.</li><li>Most guest faculty members use powerpoint presentations and are not good at their teaching skills.</li><li>Teaching is not at post graduation level</li><li>Students don't come there to study and are always intrested in * programms and whosoever is not intrested are not usually left alone</li><li>Students just waste time throught the semester by participating in all unimportant competition, bunking class, not submitting records on time, not attending labs but still are not punished. ( A guy in my class had attended 48 classes out of 159 classes still was not told anything and surprisingly he cleared the semester without any backlogs - I suppose he was way too intelligent. )</li><li>There are students who are bothered about others more importantly than themselves.</li><li>SENIOURISM &mdash; thats what I call it ;-) it was very unsual for to see this because in my previous academic year where ever I studied I never came across this thing. This dominant behaviour of senior students towards junior students is too much in mangalore university. There is so much of transparency anything and everything happens is discussed in class in the name of finding solution like for example a girl in my class had some problem with her roommate and suddenly during some discussion among the 1st year and 2nd year students, A senior out of the blue mentioned this topic and started discussing to which the girl obviously questioned as to why it is being discussed now still the matter was discussed.</li><li>Competition exists among the department but not on the academic basis but on the cultural basis like who won how many competition</li></ol>
