    Hi there,
    The entrance exam for Rajiv Gandhi school of IP includes a 200 marks paper with each question carrying 1 mark and there is no provision for negative marking. The question paper consists of subjects including English, logical reasoning, maths, Elementary science and legal aptitude.
    The legal aptitude has a weightage of 70 marks and English has 60 marks weightage which is the maximum out of other segments. Thus, the focus needs to be more on English and legal section for which you shall need good knowledge of English grammar and must have good hold on vocabulary.     Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law is the first renowned school by IIT Kharagpur that imparts legal education with IP specialisation within the IIT system.
    The programme is affiliated by Bar Council of India. It is one of the finest colleges in India. The students of this college are placed in top brands and moreover best companies are invited as recruiters every year.
    The course is a full-term 3 year residential program.
    The pattern of exam is as follows-
    Medium of examination- English
    Multiple Choice Questions
    Duration of exam- 2 Hours
    Marking Scheme- 1 Mark for each correct answer and no negative marking.

    Hello,
    Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law was formed in the campus of IIT Kharagpur in 2006. It was established in collaboration with George Washington Law School of USA. The school offers degree of LLB but the eligibility is either degree in engineering /medicine or PG in science. The syllabus is as per the guidelines prescribed by Bar Council of India.Intellectual Property Law or IPR as a subject of study has started rather late in India.
