    The candidates having the following minimum educational qualification are eligible for appearing in CTET.
    Minimum Educational Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage):
    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
    OR
    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

    Central Teacher training Test is organized by central government for checking the eligibility of teacher. Exam is organized for teacher’s eligibility which is valid for 7 years and after this, teachers have to appear in the exam again.
    Here are the qualifications needed in the exam:
    For teacher’s post for Class I to V:
    Candidates who completed their secondary level education with at least 50% marks for general and 45% marks for other caste.
    Candidates who have completed their Diploma in education.
    Qualification for a teacher in class VI to VIII:
    Candidates who passed their graduation and or appearing in the final year of exam w
