<ol><li>It's not that tough usually how seniors portray to score in internals / externals.</li><li>Maintain a CGPA above 8, because it's not that tough and end the end of the 3rd year you need not bother about your aggregate for company cut offs. This doesn't mean you study the entire sem, it's enough if you just study the previous day during your internals and start studying in your study holidays for your externals.</li><li>Do not stop doing your favorite sport/cultural activities. There are a very good number of platforms to exhibit your talents in national and international platforms. Just prepare and keeping doing it.</li><li>Keep yourself updated with the new problems of the world and put forward your ideas and solutions. Make use of all fests conducted in your college as well as NITs ans IITs.</li><li>Be wise in choosing friends, the number of friends you will have in the final year is going to drop drastically. If your main focus is on job and your friends have no plans to work, do not change your plans because of them. Stick to your plans of attending that one workshop, taking to the free online course in your Vacation.</li><li>Engineering is the best time to go on trips and know more about people outside. Just make plans and go on trips during your weekend rather than partying with some random friend of yours.</li><li>It's okay if you are losing interest in your studies, but make sure you are interested in some other field and you are working towards it. Talk to people in the field you are interested.</li><li>Don't be surprised if your results are very low, the correction is hopeless. Just give your best.</li><li>Stay physically fit, best time to keep track of your health and at this age you need to take control over your body.
