What are some interesting questions asked in Pearl Academy Interview?

Hi, In Pearl Academy interviews are held only to check whether you are really interested in that course or not. They want to see how keen you are to pursue that particular course and what is the reason behind it. Personal interviews are not to check your abilities or the speaking skills or the language because you have already cleared the GAT (General Ability Test), so it’s clear to them that you are good at English language and you have knowledge about design and you are creative. So, they only ask you very general questions like: - Tell me something about yourself. - Where are you from?- What do your parents do? - Which college you are from? - Why do you want to pursue for this course?- Why did you choose Pearl Academy for this course?- How do you think this course will help you in your future?- What are your future planes?- What are your interests and hobbies? - What are your strengths? - Why did you score less in your Bachelor's? I hope this will give you a little idea about Pearl Academy’s personal interview.

When I'd gone for the interview (communication design), their questions varied a lot. These are the subjects / kind of questions they'd asked me and the others who appeared before me. Tell me about yourself: Might be asked to loosen you up. The order of things you say will matter. The impactful, positive and better words should be first and last. For example I'm hardworking, broad minded, honest, impatient and hyper will work better than I'm impatient, hyper, honest, hardworking and broad minded. Why this course: Keep your why clear (I’m passionate about it as is the most common and boring answer. Think of better and genuine reasons). I'd told them that I never knew about this course a year ago and when I came to know, it completely fit well according to what I was searching for. That was my genuine reason. For why communication design, I'd said that it's very vast and not limited to one field. I can work on a project in poverty, from luxury to a project for uneducated mothers to the most educated people. The course doesn't limit me to a certain category of people. Something very bizarre or random: What you say isn't important, why you say is.

Hi, Interviewers only check your ability and interest in course and college. They can ask about Art you belong to. It is not a vast interview so, don't worry about it.

The questions asked in the interview are pretty generic but if you try to bloat they will catch you and ask difficult questions. For example, if you say you love fashion, they will ask you why. So be prepared for that. If you are planning to go into styling or designing, get your information about the top Indian and international designers (or stylists) and know your favorites (they can also ask why is the designer your favorite). It's always better to take a portfolio no matter what course you are joining because, in the end, all courses here are the creative kind and a good portfolio always helps one to stand out. You can add your sketches, your photography, tour craft work, anything that brings out the artist in you. Lastly, dress semi-formally and be experimental with your fashion choice. It is appreciated here.
