    Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or AME is the person who has been licensed to work on the maintenance aspects of civilian aircraft by DGCA. There are plenty of institutes which impart this training which normally is a 3-year B.Sc course. As per the report of IATA as well as DGCA, passenger traffic, as well as cargo traffic, is increasing every month. This, in turn, has prompted many Indian carriers to place orders with either with Boeing or Airbus for a passenger as well cargo aeroplanes.     The aviation industry in India is set to increase by three times in the next decade alone. More than 800 new planes are on order for various airlines in India and on their way to be delivered by 2025. With all these new aircrafts and airlines coming in, there will be a huge need for manpower for various aspects of aviation.
