    Hi,
Read up on what they're calling DevOps. In order to get good at either one of those skills, it's good to know something about the other one.
If you're into C or C++ programming, set up a server on the Internet and maintain some kind of service for real users. (Virtual Private Servers are cheap.) At work, look for opportunities to work on bugs and requirements with real users and front-line support people.
If you're into system administration, learn something about programming, especially how to do automated testing. At work, look for opportunities to script things, and build your "scripts" to the highest software standard you can.

One could be an embedded system programmer or a teacher on pursuing C/C+. However, some startup companies still thrive on C / C+ programming language.
However, once a person is completely acquainted with the C / C+ programmin
