6 years agoAir cabin crew is a comprehensive term comprising flight supervisors, pursuers, air hostesses, and flight attendants. Their responsibility is to take care of the comfort and safety of the passengers traveling in the aircraft. The duties of a cabin crew member in an airline is –
1) Attending pre-flight briefing, in which the members are assigned work.
Crew is also informed about the flight details, no of infants, passengers with special requirements, no of senior citizens.
2) Carrying a preflight task which includes checking safety equipments, security checks, ensuring the aircraft is clean and tidy and that the information in the seat pockets is up to date and that all meals, drinks and stock are on board.

Becoming a flight attendant is not for everybody. It requires the individual to be calm at all times and most importantly, be patient. It is also important for a flight attendant to be outgoing and compassionate.

In India, currently we are seeing any growth in employment. However, there is one sector that is swimming against this apparent situation is the commercial flying. As per the data released by DGCA, every month, Indian carriers are carrying more passengers than the previous month. Year on year, growth of passenger traffic is upwards 15%.
