Dr.Goutam Chatterjee What do you say- Doctors who go into management can find great jobs in hospital management and administration. There are big medical electronic companies like Philips or GE which would absorb MBA grads with a background of medicine.

There are career options in plenty these days,no doubt. But, I also suggest that ,after completing Medicine, one should work for a certain amount of time in the rural areas.Though the doctors also can think of money ,as we do, but , they should devote at least one single day in a week for the service of people.

After MBBS, students may opt for masters in medicine or surgery, apart from these they may also opt for MBA, Civil services, etc.I would request Kamaraju Pulugurtha Dr. Parag Kalkar41901 to share their expert opinion on this.

Medical Journal is another booming option- There are a good number of organisations that are exclusively into medical publishing. Keeping in mind the technicality of the medical world, they prefer recruiting medicos for compilation and editing of articles for these publications.

RJ Hritz Raja M G (Though not from medical background, yet I would appreciate your participation)- Even after doing your MBBS, you may feel that working in a hospital at odd hours of the day is not really your calling. With limited availability of post-graduation seats and work opportunities, a slight change in the career track may not be that bad an idea even for a medical graduate.
