Hi Abhishek, Psychology has a very wide scope in India as well as abroad, You can consider some of the career options mentioned below : Clinical Psychology Clinical psychologists act as therapists for people who are experiencing normal psychological crises (e.g., grief) or for individuals suffering from chronic psychiatric disorders. Career Counseling Career counseling plays a very important role in determining one’s path for their career . As a career counselor, you will administer aptitude test and personality tests, usually to high school children and help them understand (also their parents) their inherent strengths and abilities. NGOs NGOs work in several sectors and with several groups. Those NGOs that work with special children, victims of abuse, on addiction, with elders etc may employ full-time counselors. Counseling Psychology Counseling psychologists tend to focus more on persons with adjustment problems rather than on persons suffering from severe psychological disorders. Health Psychology Health psychologists are concerned with psychology's contributions to the promotion and maintenance of good health and the prevention and treatment of illness. They may design and conduct programs to help individuals stop smoking, lose weight, shed alcoholism, manage stress, and stay physically fit.
