If a candidate wants to become a college lecturer he or she has to complete at least Masters in the selected field. Bachelors from any course makes the candidate eligible for teaching at school level but after doing Masters and M.Ed candidates are eligible for teaching in the college.
After completing Masters course the candidate has to appear in the exam conducted by CBSE named UGC NET exam in which Masters candidate from all over India appear and accordingly their score certificates are made and then candidates are eligible for teaching in any UGC recognized college of India according to the vacant seat for lecturer or professor.
