    LPU is the best university of India with top placements and world class infrastructure. I want to update you regarding current term of admission-2020 in LPU. LPU has more than 200 courses and every course has certain eligibility criteria to be fulfilled by a candidate get admission. Due to COVID-19, LPU supports admission to his students by online mode with certain changes in process.     On inquiring for my niece from the counsellors of LPU, I came to know that in order to take admission in Lateral entry B.Tech, you need to meet the eligibility. The eligibility is pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 years. After 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or BCA or equivalent. LPU NEST is not mandatory but still you can appear for the scholarship. LPU do offer scholarship to provide financial assistance to the students:
    1. On the basis of marks in previous class
    2. LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholar

    You can choose any date in the given slot, if you talk about syllabus, then revise the complete class 11th and class 12th syllabus, and pattern of exam is same as JEE Mains MCQ based 120 questions from PCM.

    If you are much concerned about the date of examination, then I would say not to worry. LPU NEST has different phases with a given span of date. You can avail any of them according to your convenience. And, syllabus is what you have studied in your +2 or equivalent level. But yes, on the question pattern there will be questions related to English, just to check your grammatical knowledge and English skills.
  • The last date is 28th Feb.
    Question paper pattern for LPUNEST-2018:
    The test duration is 150 minutes (2 hrs. 30 min.) and consists of 110 multiple choice questions (MCQ) of the objective type.
    The approximate distribution of questions is as follows:
    In physics, there will be 30 questions. Each question will be of 4 marks. So the total weightage would be 120 marks.
    From chemistry, there will be 30 questions. Each question will be of 4 marks. So the total weightage would be 120 marks.
    In mathematics/ biology, there will be 30 questions. Each question will be of 4 marks. So the total weightage would be 120 marks.

    Applicants appearing for LPUNEST-2018 should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2018, in final examination of 10+2 from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi) or The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE, New Delhi) or State Board or any other Council, Institution, college, etc. declared recognised by Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi or any other concerned apex body as applicable.
    Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with physics, mathematics and English)* subject to qualifying LPUNEST-2018.

    Online registration has started in the 1st week of November 2017 and the last date to apply is 28th February 2018.
    Whatever you have studied in your class 12th, same syllabus will be there. There will be an online exam. A minimum of 60% is compulsory in class 12th.
