The following documents are required during the German student visa application process:
Completed visa application form, Indian passport (copies of the passport's bio page), Three passport size photos, Letter of admission from Leipzig University, Proof of financial means, Statement of purpose/motivation letter, Travel health insurance, Academic degree certificates and Curriculum vitae. After coming to Germany, students need to apply for an extended residence permit at the Alien Registration Office in the city of Leipzig.
