General Merit Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the four-year B.E. degree course at Bangalore Institute of Technology must have passed the P.U.C. / 12th examinations with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, along with Bio-Technology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics as optional subjects. For SC/ST & OBC candidates, the eligibility criteria include a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in the same subjects.
