All the courses at Royal Holloway except a few language courses are taught in English only. As a result, you must have adequate spoken and written English skills to handle your studies from the very beginning. They have been working hard to give alternatives to the regular IELTS testing due to the interruption brought on by Covid-19. For applicants to the 2023–2024 academic year, they can now accept the following globally acknowledged online English language qualifications:
