You get through an MA course in English Literature in any reputed college here. Then there is a bifurcated Lane. One goes to preparing civil services from any recognized Institute. While the 2nd route will lead to sit for Net., PhD or MPhil and voila! you've landed on Disneyland as a Professor or teacher.

With respect to literature, you have a good scope for getting a job as a lecturer or you can even choose to be a moderator or work as a curriculum developer. English literature gives you freedom to pen down your imagination for literary work if you are interested in writing too. You can even opt for developing special courses with respect to mass communication. After completing PG, you can even opt for Ph.D and get into the research field in order to develop the scope of English literature.
