What are the highest, average and median salary packages offered to M.Tech CSE students in IIT Dhanbad in the past 5 years?

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Dhanbad offers a two-year postgraduate degree course of M.Tech across more than 15 specializations. The job opportunities for M.Tech graduates in the Computer Science Engineer (CSE) branch are vast, and students can get a job at top companies. Besides being hired as software engineers, M.Tech graduates are also hired as consultants, subject matter experts, researchers, etc. The top hiring companies are TATA Consultancy, Accenture Services, Infosys Technologies, and IBM Global Services. According to student reviews available on Shiksha and various news reports in the last five years, more than 85% of students were placed in campus placements. The highest package offered so far was around 56 LPA, the average package is around 17 LPA. The top recruiters of IIT Dhanbad in 2022 included Wipro, Morgan Stanley, Cognizant, Xiomi, etc. Further, as per media reports, IIT Dhanbad has started the placement process for the batch passing out in 2023.
