What are the hostel facilities in LPU?

Hi! Being an alumni. LPU campus is regarded as one of the best campuses among private universities in India. Similarly, LPUs infrastructure is one of the biggest and best in the world. The campus of LPU is surrounded by trees and gardens that make teaching and learning environment more comfortable. The pollution-free and healthy environment at LPU campus is other major highlights of the campus. In LPU, the key points of hostel facilities are1. CCTV based security in both boys and girls hostel. 2. A dedicated team of warden and workers who are available in the hostel for 24 hours in shifts to provide facilities to students. 3. Best north, south and other food facilities in the mess with quality and taste4. Near to hostels, there are playgrounds to play basketball, football, badminton, cricket. 5. Indoor stadium for swimming, gyming, and learning various exciting games6. Flexible timing to visit Unimall, library and work at innovation studio7. Due to students from across the country, students are getting interacted with them and capturing various positive vibes in terms of language and knowledge sharing. 8. In the weekends, DSW (Department of student welfare organizes various activities related to sports and entertainment for hostel students. 9. Hostels are fully air-cooled with the option of both cooler and AC. 10. The rooms have attached the washroom and each student has a separate B.Ed chair, study table, fan, almirah with locker facility. Power backup for light load only (not for AC/ Geyser/ Air cooler). Mess facility with vegetarian meals only. Parking two wheeler/car facility at designated places only. Gymnasium (optional on payment basis). Students in residential facility are permitted to keep Electrical Kettles, Electrical Irons, Steamer, Laptop, Mobile Charger, Shaving Set, Trimmer, Hair Straightener and Hair Dryer. Hi, The hostel facilities are great at LPU. Let's take the example of the 4-seater room- The 4 seater room has 4 B.Ed 4 Study Table, 4 Plastic Chair, 4 Single Almirah, 1 AC/Air cooler (depending upon whether you opt for AC room or the other one), 1 Geyser with an attached washroom. There are copious facilities in Hostels. Some of the facilities are: 24 Hrs. Security Services, CCTV Surveillance, Electricity Backup, Water Supply. Turnstile gates are there at the entry of every hostel for security reasons. 24 Hrs. Medical Service (Medicines and tests on Payment) 24 Hrs. Staff Assistance, Study Room, TV Room. Lift Facility, Fire Fighting System, and Purified Water Facility Maintenance Services Wi-Fi Services. Library facility till 12 midnight. Thanks.

Living in a hostel is unique experience for those who stay inside. I know through students and other fellow faculty members how the hostel is. I will tell you what I have heard from others. LPU is a town in itself located in sprawling 600 acre campus. The hostel gives lot of facilities to the resident scholars. LPU has the most comfortable residential and first of its kind. Above all there is round-the-clock vigil through security cameras and there is a huge army of security personnel deployed all over the university. LPU has a hostel from 1 seater to 6 Seater including the AC and Non AC. To maintain cleanliness, rooms are cleaned about 23 times per week. LPU residential facilities are as state of the art as the campus is. The room has an Air Conditioner, attached washroom, and Geyser in each room. Wooden Box B.Ed Study Table, Chair and Almirah. LPU rooms are the best hostel rooms you can think of. The entire LPU hostel is no less than heaven. The rooms at LPU are classified into four categories: 4 seater, 3 seater, 2 seater, and 1 seater. Apart from it, you also have the option of choosing either a cooler room or an AC room. You can choose any of the options depending on your preference. But whichever room you choose, you will get everything you need inside the room. The beds are super comfortable, the room is well lit, there are airy windows and there is a study table for each of the beds. The hostel rooms also have attached washrooms with geysers and 24X7 water running. The rooms are basically decorated with curtains but students also decorate them with LED lights. So, LPU hostel rooms are fully equipped and beautiful but you can make them more beautiful by using decorative items and proper lights. The facilities that you get for LPU hostels include mess, laundry, parks, vending machines, restaurants, turnstile gates, attached washrooms, free cleaning service, the special menu on festivals, chilled water, 24*7 Wi-Fi, 24*7 electricity, Navratri food for the girls who are fasting, and a lot more.

The hostel life is always memorable in ones life. Being an alumnus let me share with you the hostel facilities. The residential faculty & staff provide after-hours guidance and support to the students, in case they need any academic or life advice. Sports facility is being introduced with membership of 3 different packages of games:SwimmingShootingSquash, Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball and Combative sports. Students can join all these memberships on a yearly basis. The campus has a 24 hours 30 B.Ed hospital which is staffed with resident medical officers, medical lab, dieticians and physiotherapists. In house laundry services are available at a nominal charges to students. Keeping student's requirements in mind, University offers quality residence (offering above average necessities) for their living comforts. Become independent! Students residing in the campus can earn while studying by taking up part time jobs in labs, library, sales, shopping mall etc. Become independent! Some of my friends are utilizing the residential facility at LPU and I have come to know from them that the residential facilities at LPU the safest residential place for a student to live in with 4000+ CCTV cameras and more than 400 security persons, LPU has zero tolerance towards ragging or any other unlawful activities. In my opinion one should stay in hostel of LPU because those hostels are maintained quiet well. The hostels of LPU are very well managed. Entry of boys is strictly prohibited in girls hostel and vice versa. Entry in boys hostel after 8 pm is restricted and is allowed only after consulting the warden. The hostel has many variants. You can opt for Single seater, 2 seater, 4 seater or 6 seater depending upon the availability of the same. If you have any problem with your room partner then you can report your concern to the warden. If you reason is genuine then your room might be changed. One more advantage of staying in LPU hostel is that you get 24x7 library access. LPU offers a huge Library System with 11 branches. There are more than 43 Lacs books and e-books on all subject fields. Library system subscribes number of journals, magazines and newspapers. The rooms are cleaned after every two days and infrastructure of hostel is very well constructed with all the amenities a student may require.

LPU also has Turnstile gates at major entry/exit points as well as boom barriers for vehicles ensuring that every movement is monitored. So you cannot sneak out unnecessary from your hostels. 1. Entry of boys is strictly prohibited in girls hostel and vice versa. 2. Entry in boys hostel after 8 pm is restricted and is allowed only after consulting the warden. 3. The hostel has many variants. You can opt for Single seater, 2 seater, 4 seater or 6 seater depending upon the availability of the same. 4.
