    Dates of DCET application process for admission to B.E. / B.Tech courses at K.S. Group of Institutions may vary based on year and course you choose. In 2025, the applications will open on 24th April and the exam is scheduled for 31st May 2025. Please note that these are tentative dates and actual dates may vary.

    The DCET is often referred to as the Diploma Common Entrance Test, and it is usually organized for those Diploma holders, wishing to enroll in, B.E. / B.Tech courses by lateral entry. I do not have the specific dates in concern with K.S. Group of Institutions but the general timeline of applications for DCET admissions is given below:

    Start of Application: It usually begins in the month of May or June right after the declaration of Diploma exams results.

    Last Date of Application: It usually falls in the month of June or July.

    Exam Date :- The entrance examinations for DCET would be conducted usually in the month of July or August.

    Application dates for K.S.Group of Institutions through DCET for admission to B.E./B.Tech are the date of application form, last date of application, date of issuing of admit card, date of exam, and date of result. However the specific dates concerning the current year in question are still unknown. In most cases, they will launch the DCET application in May or June while the exam will be held in July. The results are normally announced in August.

Admission to any course at the K.S. Group of Institutions is not done based on the scores obtained in the DCET exam. Admission to BTech Lateral entry courses at the college is done based on the scores obtained in the previous examination. To be eligible for the corse, the candidates need to have a minimum of 45% marks in Diploma or any equivalent examination.
