    Dear Aspirant, There are ample of opportunities in this field both in Government and in Private sector. Getting a good job depends on various factors like from where you have done your Graduation, your skills, your knowledge about the field, the Industrial experience and exposure if you have any. A graduate/ post-graduate in this field can get appointed as an Agricultural Research Scientist, Agriculture Officer, Production Manager, Farm Manager, etc. Interested students can also opt for jobs in the field of teaching, banking, and insurance.     Being an alumni of Lovely Professional University, I would say Lovely Professional University's School of Agriculture is among Punjab and India's Best Agriculture colleges. It lays thrust on carrying out research in agricultural and allied fields.     Lovely professional university is the first private university to get accreditation from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).     B.Sc Hons. Agriculture is a degree course in the field of agriculture and its applications. The study of this course consists of agricultural science and the effective implementation of modern agricultural techniques and equipment in practical applications.

    One of my friend's elder brother completed this same course from LPU and now working in Nestle.
    He told me LPU students have got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. Students from the School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio Seed, Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics and many more.65+ students have been selected for internship in different companies.
