The University of Wollongong India has been recognised and awarded by prestigious ranking bodies. According to the QS World University Rankings 2024, the University of Wollongong (UOW) is among the top 1% of universities worldwide, securing 162nd position globally and 12th in Australia. This essentially places UOW as the 2nd the highest-ranking university in India, outperforming all other IITs and IISc across the country, except for the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.
