IBPS RRB result is declared in the following three stages:
IBPS RRB Result for Preliminary Exam
The preliminary exam is conducted for Officers Scale I and Office Assistant posts. The test comprises 80 objective-type questions from Reasoning Ability and Numerical Ability. The total marks allotted to the test are 80. Candidates qualifying the exam by securing the overall and subject-wise cut off marks are selected for the Mains exam. Depending on the number of vacancies, an adequate number of candidates under each category are shortlisted for the Mains exam.
IBPS RRB Result for Mains/Single Level Exam
IBPS RRB Mains examination is conducted for Officers Scale I and Office Assistant posts, while the single-level exam is held for Officers Scale II and III. The Mains exam comprises 200 objective type questions from Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, English/Hindi Language, and Computer Knowledge. The total marks allotted to the Mains exam are 200. Candidates for the post of Officers Scale I, II, and III are required to obtain a minimum score in each test of mains/single-level exam and in aggregate to be shortlisted for the interview. For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts, provisional allotment is done based on the marks obtained in the Mains exam.
IBPS RRB Interview/Final Result
Depending on the number of vacancies, candidates three times the number of vacancies are selected for the Interview. Candidates shortlisted in the mains/single level exams for Officers Scale I, II, and III posts are called for the interview. The interview carries a total of 100 marks. The examination authority decides a minimum qualifying mark for the interview. The result of the interview is declared along with the final result.
The final IBPS RRB result is declared based on the scores of the Mains exam/single level examination and Interview. The relative weightage given to the Mains exam and interview is 80:20. Candidates should qualify both in the mains/single exam and interview and be high in the order of merit to be shortlisted for the provisional allotment process.
