What are the uses of different ranks?

Difference between JEE Main AIR and Category rank (Suppose SC Category) What they r meant for how they benefit the candidate { well i belongs to GEN } but if i belongs to SC Which benefits will i get where my category rank is used and where my AIR rank is used Bcoz i Get 2 Rank Acc. to JEE Main

Ofcouse for SC/SC category it is quite easy to take admission in some good institute rather than General category. This is all political game in which a general category student fails to get admission even if he is more intelligent and capable. Special seats are reserved for SC/ST category students
