What can I do to pursue automobile engineering? What are the requirements for the same to get admission in Maharashtra colleges?

I have done my 12th in science with 62%.

    It is safer to do B.Tech in m echanical than going for automobile and it is better to learn more about automobile engineering along with your mechanical degree. Basically, 85% of syllabus content is same.
    B.Tech in automobile is not enough for entering the industry and there are very few job openings for B.Tech auto pass outs. Campus placements are also very few.
    It is waste spending time at service centers after B.Tech in automobile, it is not going to help you enter the industry.

    You are advised to appear for JEE Mains and MH CET Engineering to seek admission in B.Tech Automobile Engineering.
