I am not quite aware of Centurion University, Parakhemundi for B.Sc. Agriculture but If you are interested in exploring Agricultural Sciences and practices in contemporary times, you should go for B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons). B.Sc. I will advice you to identify that college which is ICAR. Out of these two, I am not sure about Centurion University but yes LPU is the first private university to get ICAR which is matter of proud. One of my colleagues daughter took admission in LPU and when we inquired, we came to know that B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture is a four years programme that aims at building expertise through well planned on-field implementation and testing of basic concepts in production, yield enhancement disease resistant and better shelf life of food and flora. Hi, In my opinion, LPU is the best agriculture institute in Punjab and India. It places a strong emphasis on agricultural and related studies. The institution features well-equipped laboratories, a library, lecture rooms, and a fantastic farm where agricultural experiments can be conducted. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance Retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics, and many other companies use School of Agriculture graduates. 7 Students Received a 3.74 LPA Offer 7 students from the School of Agriculture have been hired as Retail-Agri executives at HDFC, India's the largest private bank, with a starting annual remuneration of 3.75 LPA. The international camp was held to allow students to showcase their projects on sustainable water resource management. University provides unique inputs in the form of placement classes to prepare students for placements. Dear Aspirant, every university is doing good for his students. So, it is difficult to say which one is best. But yes, there are certain parameters to compare to select the best institute. LPU has ICAR accreditation for his agriculture courses. No other private university has this accreditation. As per NIRF-2020 ranking, LPU is amongst top 100 institutes of India. Let me clear first what is the meaning of ICAR. ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) is an accreditation from the Central ministry of India related to study of agriculture which is given to those universities who are the best for this field means, if a university have all the resources in terms of labs, fields, well qualified and experienced staff and faculty, hi Tech labs, research background etc. Then this affiliation is given to only that university. It is very difficult for a university to meet the standards of ICAR. LPU is the first private university to be granted The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) accreditation by Ministry of Agriculture due to their excellency in the study of agriculture. Doing any course related to agriculture from ICAR accredited means you have all the skills and you are aware of all the tools and methods required for agriculture. This will help you for your career in private and government sector. So, dear student this the importance of ICAR. LPU meets the standard of ICAR. It is one of the best programmes in LPU having wonderful placements. The university puts its best efforts for the grooming of our students. The curriculum incorporates specific courses (subjects) under the notion of Professional Enhancement Programs (PEP) in which the students are prepared to crack the placement processes. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning)Quantitative Aptitude Skills. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too. LPU has highly qualified faculty.
