    Hello Aishwarya,
Actually, home university is a rule under which you need to complete your graduation from that university. For example, if I am from Aurangabad but completed my engineering from Pune, so Pune University will become my home university hence I get an additional advantage during the cut-off if I am applying to Pune colleges for MBA.
Hope this solves your query. Cheers and good luck.
    Thanks.

    Hi Aishwarya,
Home University is the one through which you complete your graduation. If you apply to a college affiliated with the same university then you become a Home University student and that university as your Home University.
For e.g: If you apply in PUMBA, which is a Department of Pune University, along with which you have completed your graduation from a college affiliated with Pune University, then you become a Home University Student for PUMBA.
I hope this answer helps solve your doubt.
    Thank You!

Yes, it's exactly from where you have completed your graduation.
For example, your Home University will be Mumbai if you did UG course from there.
    Hope you got the answer.

Home University means the university in which you have completed your graduation. Doesn't matters in which area you are living.

PUMBA placements are solid—95% placed, average pay around Rs 9–9.4 LPA, and some students (top 10%) land sweet deals up to Rs 15 LPA. And yes, Rs 16 LPA has been the top package. But a heads-up: opportunities in finance or internships can be hit-or-miss depending on your batch. Still, overall it gives a good ROI if you're proactive.”
