In most institutes, at the School of Studies in Library & Information Science, no entrance test is insisted upon to allow admission into the B.Lib.I.Sc. program. Admission is given based on the merit obtained in the respective higher secondary or its equivalent examination. However, some universities conduct an entrance test of their own to judge the aptitude of the applicants in the field of library science. One would look at the student requirements on the institution's website or contact the admissions office to confirm if there is an entrance exam needed and what the score would be for this intake cycle.
