While the USTM's MBA admission process is multifunctional, the university usually consider the score from the national level recognised management entrance examination. For example, applicants often score scores from tests such as Mat and CMAT. In addition, the USTM can conduct its own ability evaluation - through interview or group discussion - to further evaluate candidates. Since the approved entrance exam and selection criteria can be updated from time to time, it is best to check the latest MBA admission guidelines on the official website of USTM or contact their admission office directly for the most current information.

  • USTM has a number of entrance exams through which it admits students to its MBA courses. The candidates can take the USTM-CAT, a paper-based test conducted by the university. Alternatively, USTM also considers valid scorecards of national-level entrance tests such as CAT, MAT, XAT, or CMAT. Candidates with valid scores of these tests are exempted from the USTM-CAT and can directly take the Personal Interview (PI) and Group Discussion (GD) rounds. The last merit list takes into account the marks in the qualifying exam, entrance exam, and PI and GD performance.
