    The IISER Entrance Exam 2024, also known as the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT), follows a well-defined format:

    Test Mode: It's a completely computer-based test (CBT).

    Duration: The total exam duration is 3 hours (180 minutes).

    Question Type: The entire exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) only. There will be no subjective questions.

    Number of Questions: There will be a total of 60 MCQs.

    Subject Coverage: The questions will be spread across the four subjects of Science: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Each subject will have 15 questions.

    Marking Scheme:

      • Each correct answer awards 4 marks.
      • Each incorrect answer deducts 1 ma

    Candidates seeking admission to the five-year BS-MS dual degree programme provided by the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) must pass an entrance exam. According to the format of the IISER entrance exam, students get three hours to finish all sixty objective questions. Three marks will be given to candidates for each right response. Every wrong response will result in one mark being deducted. The candidate can be admitted to IISER at Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, or Tirupati based on the results of the IISER entrance exam, which is also known as the IISER aptitude test.

    Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) conduct an entrance exam in order to provide admission to candidates in the five-year-long BSMS dual degree programme offered by them. The IISER Entrance Exam 2025 format is multiple choice questions (MCQ), where four options will be given to the candidates against a question. Candidates are needed to select one option amongst the four options which are mentioned. To every correct answer, marks will be awarded to the candidates.
