What GPA do you need to get into Carnegie Mellon?

<p>Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) generally expects applicants to have a GPA of 3.7 or higher to be admitted. Competitive applicants typically have a GPA between 3.9 and 4.0 or higher.&nbsp;</p><p>CMU is very selective, admitting only 11 out of every 100 applicants. Meeting the GPA requirements is important to get past the first round of filters and prove academic preparation.&nbsp;</p><p>Other requirements for admission to CMU include:</p><p>Letters of recommendation: Two to three letters from teachers or mentors are required.&nbsp;</p><p>Personal statement: Required to showcase personal strengths, unique experiences, values, and aspirations.&nbsp;</p><p>GRE scores: Required and must be less than five years old</p>

<p>International students must have a qualifying GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 to get admission to PG admission at Carnegie Mellon University. Apart from this, students also meet the additional admission requirements for admission in UG and PG programs.</p>
